Raised in Suffolk County,
Michael Langella has represented personal injury plaintiffs on Long Island and the 5 boroughs for most of his 38 years in practice. He has achieved successful results for over thousands of clients both through settlements and many verdicts. Michael prides his practice on maintaining a high degree of professionalism, honesty and integrity. He strives to obtain the proper monetary recovery for his clients.
Michael is nothing if not relatable. He is the sort of guy that you feel you know like a close friend, right from the first handshake. The reason for that is simple: Michael Langella is, and always has been, a values first person. He puts his uncomplicated and dependable traits right out there like a badge of honor.
Having been born and raised in New York, it’s easy to tell that Michael lives and breathes the same experiences and attitudes that make us who we are. Simple traits like straightforward honesty, plain dealing, and an intense work ethic based around an inner need to simply be the best we can be.
Like many who become successful attorneys, Michael has been a very competitive and results driven person, even from a young age. During his formative years, Michael originally planned on an academic career. But that drive to succeed made him seek out a more proactive way of helping people. Now, a few decades later, Michael has successfully represented thousands of people just like you.
The success of Michael’s legal practice is clearly the result of knowing how to treat people the right way, without losing the intense edge that’s necessary to win the big battles. A strong desire for justice, mixed with a complete and total desire to achieve the best outcomes possible, is the hallmark of any great attorney. He simply refuses to quit.
“I am clearly a New York kind of guy. Like they say, if you can make it here, you can make it anywhere, and I think that perseverance and intensity are the keys to being a successful attorney."
"What is most personally satisfying to me, is simply taking any case large or small and obtaining a positive result. It is all about winning. Insurance companies often start with a no pay position whether that relates to issues of liability or damages. Nothing feels better than succeeding against that.”
The truth is, achieving results in personal injury law requires someone fully committed to winning. Michael Langella is known for his complete commitment to achieving positive outcomes for people. He fights relentlessly until he achieves the best possible result.
And this has been the guiding light of Michael’s practice for the entirety of his career. Understand and respect people—put yourself in their shoes to see what matters to them. Then, go out there and fight until you win. There are few people who you would rather have in your corner.
Michael is admitted to practice law in the state of New York since 1985 and admitted to the Federal Courts of the Southern and Eastern Districts of the United States. He is a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association and the New York State Trial Lawyers Association.
Michael enjoys spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter, boating, and traveling.
